With over 25 years of experience in organizational change and school development in public and private institutions, Rae Ann has led the start-up of 10 different schools designed to help young people with emotional and behavioral challenges and the re-vitalization of multiple profit and non-profit entities. In 2004, she became the founding Head of an all-girl secondary boarding school in the northeast. Currently, Rae Ann is working with the State of Vermont Department of Education to facilitate effective school-based programming for special needs students and is leading a state-wide effort to create public school climate and culture that will effectively support the emotional and behavioral needs of all students.
Rae Ann uses her years of experience in business, marketing, clinical services and education to consult with schools and organizations in making informed decisions and strategic changes focused on expanding educational services or transforming educational environments for young people. Her focus on gender conscious education and clinical services; particularly in understanding the needs of girls, has led her to present at various conferences around the country and formed the foundation of her work in creating an all girls school.
